AKAD’s VBV Insurance Intermediary preparation course provides the essential foundations for insurance advisory and prepares participants specifically for the VBV qualification. Thanks to its modular structure, you can specialise flexibly in life, non-life or supplementary health insurance.
For already certified intermediaries, AKAD also offers a re-certification course. It supports you efficiently in preparing for the VBV re-certification exam, combining self-study in the MyVBV learning environment with in-depth sessions either online or on-site.

AKAD: MAS FH in Insurance
The MAS FH in Insurance offers advanced professional education for insurance specialists who wish to further develop their expertise, strategic capabilities and leadership skills. The Master of Advanced Studies is delivered in cooperation with Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences and consists of three CAS programmes and a master thesis. The thematic focus can be selected individually, allowing the programme to be aligned with personal interests and career goals. The MAS comprises 60 ECTS credits and combines in depth insurance expertise with management and leadership competencies.
IfFP: VBV Insurance Intermediary Certification and Recertification
The IfFP courses prepare participants in a structured manner for the VBV admission examinations and provide practical advisory know how for everyday professional work. The training profiles “General Skills and Knowledge”, “Life”, “Non Life” and “Supplementary Health Insurance” can be booked individually or combined flexibly. When booking multiple profiles, participants benefit from overlapping content, reducing both time commitment and costs. Completing all profiles leads to the all lines profile and prepares you for all admission examinations. Compact recertification training is also available in German and French.

Sobrado Smart supports brokers in continuous learning during their daily work while covering all content required for VBV recertification examinations. This comprehensive learning platform provides multimedia content aligned with the VBV qualification profile and optimised for practical use and mobile access. Sobrado Smart enables efficient exam preparation, ongoing training and quick knowledge lookup before client meetings in German, French and Italian. The solution can also be used as a stand alone platform independent of the traditional Sobrado platform and was developed in collaboration with Mendo and Get More Brain. The Sobrado platform is also available via the EcoHub Marketplace.
Art of Formation WBA: Guided online continuing education for finance and insurance professionals
Art of Formation WBA is an accredited online continuing education institute with above average completion rates. 97 percent of participants recommend the WBA programmes. The programmes are aimed at brokers and advisers who want to expand their professional expertise and prepare for recognised qualifications in the finance and insurance sector. Participation in the guided online lessons is location independent. As the lessons are recorded, attendance is flexible and easy to plan. This makes it straightforward to combine training with daily professional responsibilities from both an employee and employer perspective.
Small classes of five to a maximum of fifteen participants create a personal learning environment and allow for individual support. WBA also accompanies participants during exam preparation and provides guidance on the next steps in their career development.

eQuit simplifies cancellations for insurance brokers and their clients in a digital, efficient and legally compliant way. Through the eQuit partner portal, cancellations are recorded online and automatically generated. Depending on the provider, delivery can be handled flexibly by registered mail with printing and dispatch, by email or directly via the respective contractual partner. The templates are legally compliant, often electronically signable and include digital proof of delivery. This reduces administrative workload, saves valuable time and significantly eases daily operations.
riskAware: Lean risk management for SMEs and broker clients
riskAware provides SMEs with a structured, efficient and cost effective solution for systematic risk management. An industry specific risk catalogue covers around 80 percent of typical risks and forms the basis for digital online reporting including a risk catalogue, heatmap, action tracking and risk report.
The annual subscription includes a yearly review through a risk dialogue covering risk identification, the risk report and a risk summary for the board of directors and executive management. Implementation takes place in cooperation with the broker, who integrates the analysis into their holistic advisory approach.
